VMI Sports KXR Stacked features Max Catalyst ingredients to aid in absorption of key ingredients used to promote focus, blood flow, energy and performance. This true 30-serving pre-workout can be stacked with a blood flow agent, if preferred, but it is not necessary as most users will get everything they want out of KXR Stacked pre-workout. 

MAXed Citrulline Malate – 6g

Citrulline Malate is a combination of Citrulline and Malic Acid. In VMI Sports KXR Stacked pre-workout we get the 2:1 ratio. This means we are getting 4g of pure Citrulline and 2g of Malic Acid.

Citrulline is the precursor to Arginine in the body. This means when you consume Citrulline your body converts it to Arginine which then triggers nitric oxide to be produced which then increases and improves blood flow. This will give you a fuller look aka the pump but also benefits muscle endurance, performance and recovery.

Malic Acid may aid in performance and output

The addition of the MAX to this means it will be better absorbed versus Citrulline Malate alone.

We like to see 3-5g of Citrulline used for optimal benefits, we get 4g so this is solid.

Beta-Alanine – 3.2g

Beta-Alanine is one of the most popular ingredients used in pre-workouts. It is popular because it is well studied, well backed and it gives consumers a “feeling” that they know they just took a pre-workout. That feeling is called paresthesia, the tingling of the skin. This is not the primary benefit of Beta-Alanine.

Beta-Alanine actually can buffer lactic acid which may reduce muscle soreness. In turn, Beta-Alanine can improve muscular endurance allowing you to go longer in the gym. The 3.2g dosage is the industry standard.

Taurine – 1,500mg

Taurine is dosed at 1,500mg in this KXR Stacked formula to help improve exercise endurance and performance. Taurine can aid in regulating electrolytes to ensure your body stays hydrated during your exercise. The 1,500mg dosage is higher than the traditional 1,000mg dosage we find in a lot of pre-workouts.

Betaine – 1.25g

Betaine Anhydrous is a proven ingredient that has been shown to improve/increase performance in the gym through increased strength and output. Some studies also suggest that Betaine Anhydrous can aid in recovery.

Dosing on Betaine Anhydrous can be between 1.25g and 2.5g. VMI Sports KXR Stacked gives us the 1.25g dosage to aid in output and performance. 

L-Tyrosine – 1,000mg

L-Tyrosine is a non-essential amino acid (one that the body can produce on its own) and precursor to both our “feel good” neurotransmitter dopamine and noradrenaline. It is one of the most popular nootropic compounds in the supplement industry and has been shown to increase cognition during bouts of acute stress, such as exercising.

Tyrosine will provide a slight euphoric feeling that us gym rats absolutely adore, and it is becoming increasingly common to see supra-therapeutic doses of it in a pre-workout formula. 

The 1,000mg dosage is the standard starting dosage of L-Tyrosine for a positive impact. 

VitaCholine Choline Bitartrate – 500mg

VitaCholine is from a company called Balchem Human Nutrition and Health. The main job of VitaCholine is to control the production of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter that supports brain and nervous system processes, like learning, memory, and muscle control. This not only improves cognition but also can improve mood as well. VitaCholine is one of the most reputable Choline Bitartrate ingredients out there. The 500mg dosage is great. 

Pink Himalayan Salt – 384mg

The addition of Pink Himalayan Salt is for electrolytes and hydration. This will aid in performance. 

DMAE – 300mg

DMAE (Dimethylaminoethanol) can increase choline levels, a precursor to acetylcholine, which is a neurotransmitter important for learning and memory. DMAE has been used in patients with memory loss and is now introduced into dietary supplements to aid in improving cognitive performance. Typical doses range from 100 to 300 mg daily, though individuals vary in their response.

Theobromine – 300mg

Theobromine is a metabolite of caffeine. It can have caffeine-like effects in terms of reducing fatigue and improving alertness. It can also increase body temperature (thermogenesis) and aid in blood flow. We typically see this dosed at 100mg, so the 300mg is 3x what we typically see but it is regarded as safe and effective. 

MAX Catalyst Bioperine – 3mg

The dosing of 3mg of Max Catalyst Bioperine is meant to improve absorption of ingredients thus making them more effective. 

MAXed Caffeine Blend – 200mg

VMI Sports KXR Stacked combines Caffeine Citrate (50% caffeine), Caffeine Anhydrous and Di-Caffeine Malate (Infinergy – yields 74% caffeine) for a total of 200mg caffeine per serving. This is not considered high stimulant but an optimal amount of stimulants that most can tolerate. The combination of the three sources of caffeine will aid in immediate “energy” and longstanding energy without the crash. The combination of these three will “feed” the body over a duration of time to ensure high energy levels are held throughout the workout.
